We are going to talk about the most interesting module of all where students actually feel that how exactly to go about it would be able to do it correctly or not.
As the models suggest, we are just going to do speaking in the entire module face to face with the examiner. It's not like we're talking to a system.
Speaking audio is 11 to 14 minutes.
According to the structure, it can be less, it can be more, depending upon how much the examiner would love to converse with it.
It is divided into 3 sections.
Warm up section.
Now here the examiner actually asks you questions, very short questions in order to warm you up before speaking.
Of course these questions are going to be counted and are going to be scored in your reading module.
But the questions are very short, like for instance they might ask you.
Do you enjoy the job that you're doing?If your job gives you an opportunity to go abroad and work, would you be interested to do that or did you go to a high school which is which was near your area or how did you when was the last time that you rode a bicycle? It's a very simple questions.
They are actually asking you in order to see that how well you are actually speaking and catering to these simple questions which are there, right?
Main question
Now here a topic is now what? How exactly it goes is the examiner is going to give you a card and that your topic is written.
You have to think for one minute while you're thinking.
A rough sheet would be provided to you where you can note down the points that you wish to look at it and speak during the entire session.
So you can note down points for the entire one minute and then you have to speak for two to three minutes.
They're just going to ask you simple day-to-day routine life questions such as they might ask you.
For example - describe your favorite restaurant that you enjoy going to.
That is, they'll be taking the cue card and they'll be taking the rough sheet from you.
Once you are done speaking
Okay, then the third third section will start.
The follow up questions.
So follow-up question means not what you said, but what was the topic like? Topic was related to restaurant food.
So they might ask you a question when you invite guests at home.
Who cooks? You cook, Your family member cooks or you ordered from a restaurant, or they might ask you that.
Yeah, so very simple questions.
They're just seeing how well you speak.
Now in this, you shouldn't stammer, shouldn't happen much.
There shouldn't be long pauses.
If you do that, do these, your marks will get cut.
Your pronunciation should be good.
Accent doesn't matter.
